Small Space Setups
Small desks punish clutter faster than large ones, which is why they respond so well to a handful of well-chosen pieces. This is the sequence we recommend when floor space is the constraint.
Buy vertical before you buy wide
A riser or shelf turns unusable air into storage and puts the screen where your neck wants it. On a 100cm desk this single change gives back about a third of the surface.
One light, correctly placed
In a shared room you want light on the desk and nowhere else. A clamp or weighted task lamp with a tight throw beats any ceiling fixture.
Make the setup packable
If the desk doubles as a dining table or a study spot, choose a folding laptop stand and a pouch that swallows every cable in under a minute. A setup that packs down is a setup you'll actually keep tidy.
